An Effect of Binary Fluid on the Thermal Performance of Pulsation Heat Pipe

Abstract A pulsation heat pipe is an efficient used in many engineering applications. This study aims to test the effect of working fluids on thermal performance pipe. Seven turned pipes were designed and manufactured from a copper with 3.5 mm inner diameter. The lengths evaporation part, adiabatic passage, condenser part 300 , 210 respectively. In this study, three different as fluid: distilled water, methanol, binary fluid (a mixture water methanol) 50% filling ratio. Compared experimental results suggested that methanol had better when PHP . On other hand, enhanced lower ( 29% reduction resistance 20% increase effective conductivity ).
